Cold Rooms
Smart Frigo is an expert in the design and construction of cold rooms. Our cold rooms comply with the requirements for sanitary and hygienic conditions, and are made of thermal insulation panels with optimal thickness and wear-resistant coatings. Each cold room is designed and built according to the individual requirements of our customers and partners.
Cold rooms are thermally insulated spaces where a controlled temperature, different from that of the environment, is maintained. Cold rooms have a volume of ten to several thousand cubic meters. They are used to store large quantities of food, thermolabile products, raw materials, materials, chemicals, etc.
Depending on their application, there are several types of cold rooms:
- Storage cold rooms
- Freezing cold rooms
- Temperature blast chillers
The storage cold rooms, also called positive temperature cold rooms operate at a temperature range of t= -2÷15°C.
The freezing cold rooms, also called negative temperature cold rooms operate at a temperature range of t= -18÷-25°C.
The temperature blast chillers are designed for quick freezing of various products. They provide rapid freezing speed, and the temperature is reduced to -30°C or lower, depending on the needs.
